This update ensures that when a customer buys items from a Buy X Get Y or Bundle promotion, they must
return the entire promotion set together
- not just selected items.✨ Why it matters
- Prevents misuse of promotions (e.g., customers returning only paid items and keeping the free ones)
- Keeps your discount campaigns fair and transparent
- Helps you protect your promotional costs and profit margins
⚙️ How it works
- Create a Buy X Get Y or Amount off products (Bundle discount) promotion in Shopify.
- Go to Synctrack Returns & Exchanges → Settings → Policies.
- Enable the option “Require return all items from BOGO/Bundle Deals.”
- Save your settings.
When customers submit a return request:
The system automatically detects if the order includes a BOGO or bundle deal.
NOTE:
If a customer selects any item from the promotion, the system will auto-select all related items in that deal.
The return can only proceed if the entire deal group is returned.
